Traditional IRA 
A great way to save for retirement!  Individuals who contribute to a Traditional IRA may qualify for a tax deduction as well as enjoy tax-deferred earnings.  The 2013 and 2014 contribution limit is $5,500 with an extra $1,000 catch-up contribution limit for individuals age 50 and older. 
 
 
Roth IRA 
Contributions to a Roth IRA are not deductible, but if you meet certain requirements, your distributions can be tax-free.  The 2013 and 2014 contribution limit is $5,500 with an extra $1,000 catch-up contribution limit for individuals age 50 and older. 
 
 
CESA (Coverdell Education Savings Accounts) 
Contributions to this education account are non-deductible but may have tax-free earnings when distributions are used for qualified education expenses.   
 
 
HSA (Health Savings Accounts) 
Health Savings Accounts contributions are tax-deductible and qualified medical distributions are tax-free.  To be eligible to open a Health Savings Account you must be covered under a high deductible health plan.  Money not used for medical expenses can be carried over from year to year or saved for your retirement.
